To encourage and promote recreational and competitive soccer in the Town of Bonnyville and surrounding areas.
To organize appropriate inter-locking league schedules and tournament in liaison with the soccer communities in the district.
To select representative teams to compete in Alberta Soccer Association (ASA) Provincials.
To promote the ASA development programs for referees, players, coaches and parents.
To act as liaison between the BSA, the Lakeland District Soccer Association (LDSA), and the ASA and the Canadian Soccer Association (CSA).
To register all players in good standing in accordance with ASA guidelines.
To adhere to Canada Soccer Code of Conduct and Ethics
To support the Coaches Association of Canada Responsible Coaching Movement
To Implement and Enforce the Rule of Two Policy
To follow playing formats according to Canada Soccer Grassroots Standards
To provide programming which considers Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) stage appropriate principles
To provide diversity, inclusion and culturally sensitive training to our coaches
To appreciate diversity to ensure everyone feels safe and that they belong regardless of ability and background
To provide programming that targets underrepresented groups in our community as outlined in the Canada Soccer Guide to Accessibility and Inclusion
To commit to providing an enjoyable soccer experience for all participants.
